Future of Work in Government

The Future of Work in Government programme develops management and leadership skills for middle managers in the Middle East, preparing them to meet today’s public sector challenges and be future-ready.

The programme includes 10 modules (3–4 hours each, available in English and Arabic) covering strategy, leadership, project management, and business analytics, along with an exploration of the future of work in government. Participants engage in practical learning through an online platform, peer collaboration, and live masterclasses hosted by Oxford faculty. Assignments encourage experimentation and reflection to apply learning in practice.

This programme equips participants to:

  • Increase role clarity through a focus on performance and value creation in today's public sector organisations.

  • Be better equipped to manage and lead teams, including fostering personal growth and helping others flourish in the workplace.

  • Become more delivery-oriented, extending skills to turn high-level strategies into actionable operations.

  • Collaborate more effectively with stakeholders who have competing agendas to deliver public value.
